  Well, I got a phone call the other day from the guidance counselor at school infroming me that my children are involved in the redistricting and that they will have to go to another school next school year. Needless to say I AM PISSED!!!!Sorry if that offends anyone but that basically sums it up.

  I have had to fight with the damn school system for 3 years to get them to provide services for my son, I even had to take him to a private Dr. to have him tested because they are Half assed in their testing and couldnt get their shit toghether and agree on anything.

   Now, the first year he is doing FANTASTIC, we are talking straight A's, doing things on his own excelling, they move us.

  They assure me he will get all the same services and everthing just in the NEW  school.

well, their idea of a new school is an old school that has been there that they will start in because the NEW school is still not done yet and wont be done till Christmas time. So, not only will they disrupt Jacobs life once, but twice!!! 

  Yeah, he will start the school year in the old school and just get used to that and then after the holidays, he will startt in the new school and have to get used to that. Talk about disruptive,I just hope he can handle it.

  Jacob is Very bad about change and he loves his school. i tried to talk about it with the boys last night but they both actually started to cry. I dropped it for now, but I have to get Jacob prepared for this long before Aug. rolls around and I have to take him to register him.

   Of course my mom is like "why did you even say anything, you know how he is?" Thats right!! I know how he is and if I dont start getting him used to the idea now, it is going to be a white skull meltdown going in there and I cant handle that scene in a new school right off the bat.

  I am so damn mad at all this I could scream!!!!!

  The ONLY good thing out of all of it is my other son wont get stuck with the same teacher next year that he has this year. Here they keep the same teacher for 2yrs at a time. So, like in Kindergarten you have 1 teacher and then you keep the same teacher for 1st and 2nd grade, then you get a new teacher for 3rd and you keep her till you go to 5th. It is good and bad, good if you like the teacher and she is good. Bad if you cant stand the bitch and she stinks!!! Such is the Situation with Caelens teacher, so at least we will be rid of her!!

  Caelen at least did say he will try it but if he doesnt like it he wants to go back to his old school. Oh, sweet boy, it just doesnt work that way and I dont have the heart to tell him that as of yet. But we will have to have that conversation too I suppose........ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  The guidance counselor was so apologetic when she called, she has been there for me, she has helped me get Jacobs toys back when the kid in his class took them and wouldnt give them back, she also has a son with severe ADHD, so she can relate to what I am going through somewhat. She sounded like she was about to cry on the phone, she could have joined me, I wouldnt have minded a bit. 

   It seems everytime things seem to be working out, someone throws a wrench in the system.

Everyone is saying, Maybe it will be great and he will rise to the occasion. My boss at work was like, Thats life he is just going to have to learn to adjust!! ahhhh out of the mouths of women who havent a clue of what it is like to have a child with a disability!!!! Not to mention that her youngest child is in her friggin 20"s!!! Hello, alot has changed since you raised your kids sweetheart. She is another one who makes me nutts!!!!!

  Dont you just love the ones who have all the advice and all the answers you  will ever need even though they dont have a damn clue what it is like to have a child with issues.

  It must be nice to know it all, I wouldnt know... I'm just trying to get through day to day the best way I can for me and my family...

  Sorry to ramble everyone, I just needed to vent to people who can understand what I'm going through.

   I am so tired of fighting for everything but i will keep on. I have to for my babies!!!

Damn schools!!!
