Missing you and wishing you were around. I am struggling with MS again. Have a call into the doc. I've been so good for over a year now. Ticked off big time since I am supposed to start my new job in a 1 1/2 weeks. UGH!!!!!! Hugs to you my dear friend.
Hey there! Congrats on quitting smoking! One of my next steps ;) I was just diagnosed June 30th, a week after my 34th birthday - happy bday to me! But, like you, Jesus is my everything, so I am secure in His arms, even in the midst of a disease that has me confused and lost and feeling so out of control. Oh, and P.S... love Twilight!!
Goody! Keep sending the tips. I love posts like this. Helps and one can always use a few good tips on healthy habits.
Aloha, thanks for your wonderful reply to my posting. And I definitely don't put all Christians "in a box" so to speak. You're absolutely right that Jesus' main message was to love one another, not judge or anything else. I know so many very devout Christians that accept me for who I am, never try and change me, and show me nothing but respect and love. And for that I am truly grateful. You'd also be surprised that most likely the majority of gays and lesbians are probably church going Christians as well. However, they will attend "gay friendly" churches that are accepting. I truly believe that, as you put it, the "fanatics" have hijacked the true messages of Jesus, and for that I am very sad. But there are more people like you that understand the true meaning of faith, love and acceptance of others, and that's what religious faith should be about. Again many thanks for your reply to my posting. Sending Aloha from Hawaii
I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2000, after going paralized on my left side. I healed up slowly over a 6 month period. It left me with a bumb hand. (particially parilized)I was in denial for a long time and refused to take any medicine for it. Now, I'm on my 4th attack, and finally coming to terms with this. I feel depressed. It's been 7 years, and I feel like I just got it!I lost my job, I'm limping again, money's about to run out, insurance is about to run out... What to do!
WOOHOO!! I finally quit smoking! Crazy, but I waited till things were really stressful and THEN I quit...lol!
I need to lose at least 30 pounds.
