About Me
I was abused by my father mainly but my mother knew about it & choose to do nothing. Even though she's passed away I still miss my mother. I love pets & I train dogs. I'm dating my best friend and it's the best thing I've ever done. I've had a triple bypass at the age of 48. I'm on a insulin pump that I like. If you want to know more please feel free to ask. There's no stupid nor dumb question to me.

Was abused by my father from so young I don't remember till I was 14 years old.
Close Physical & Emotional Abuse
Was abused by my father as young as I can remember till I was 14. So now I have been told I have PTSD from it.
Treatments
- Abuse Counseling Too Soon to Tell
- Too soon to tell. I am on Zolft.
Open Obesity
I am 4'11" and about 250.
Treatments
- Avoid Certain Foods / Chemicals Too Soon to Tell
- Sugar, breads, high fat, high salt... just to name a few.
- Gastric Bypass Surgery Not Working
- I didn't have the bypass. I had the gastro- stapling. I had major problems with it so they reversed it with in one month.
- Physical Exercise Considering
- I will be walking and doing some home exercising as soon as my hip feels better for me to do so.

I'm on an insulin pump that I just love. I am needing some help with my blood sugars and want to know what others are doing.

- Actos Too Soon to Tell
- Only been on it for a few days now.
- Amaryl Working / Worked
- Still on it.
- Byetta Not Working
- Didn't work for me at all. But I did like the fact that it came in a pen.
- Dietary Modification Working / Worked
- Watching my carbs and if I want something sweet that I make sure to count all the carbs in what I eat to log into my insulin pump.
- Eating Healthier Foods Working / Worked
- I am finding this is the best for me besides the insulin pump.
- Insulin (Regular and NPH) Not Working
- I was still getting very high readings no matter what I did.
- Insulin Pump Working / Worked
- I just love mine and I wouldn't trade it for anything. My insurance covers it all even the batteries.
- Lantus Not Working
- Didn't work at all for me.
- Levemir Not Working
- Didn't work for me at all. Plus it would burn when I took it and keep burning for some time after.
- Metformin Not Working
- Didn't work at all for me.
- NovoLog Working / Worked
- This is all I use now in my insulin pump.
- Physical Exercise Considering
- Now that the snow is almost done here to where I can get out more I know this will help me most. But it's getting started is where I am having the problem.
