HEY EVERYONE!!! ASHLEY HERE WITH GOOD NEWS!!!!
I have a full time job as a member of YAWR (Youth Against War and Racism). They're not paying, but they're going to try to find money to pay me and some others!
I emailed Trey (for those who don't know- He's my former film/screenwriting teacher. This is what he sent me after I sent himsomething:
Ashley, no you can not operate Final Cut on a PC you must have a mac in order to run it. Yes, of course you can borrow one of the cameras, I'm afraid it would have to be the little one though, so your sound would suffer, but that is the camera you used for your doc last year so it would be the same.
Most importantly, congratulations on getting a job. I consider that a success for both you and the department. I couldn't be prouder of you. i hope, though, that this doesn't sidetrack any plans for college, which is also important. You are great.
I'll be back at work on Monday - get in touch me and we will move forward. TW
