Close Colon Cancer
Stage: IIIA (T1-2, N0, M0)

I was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer in September 2008. Did 1 series of chemo and quite because it was horrible. I should be OK but still have that worry.

Treatments

5-FU Too Soon to Tell

I stopped after about a week because of the side effects. Apparently, mine were worse than normal so don't let it scare you away.

Chemotherapy Too Soon to Tell

Side effects were tough. I was cramping up and unable to hold a pencil or walk very well. I stopped it.

Surgery Working / Worked

So far, it looks wonderful. It was scary, had some major bleeding a few days after surgery, but I think it took care of the problem.

Xeloda Too Soon to Tell

Only did it for a week or so.
