I was just recently diagnosed, after many years of problems. I have begun the Copaxone shots. I am married 37 years with 2 grown children, 2 grandchildren one of who we raised. He is now a freshmen in college. I enjoy camping, playing bunco. I have had many hobbies over the years that I have had to give up because of the problems associated with the MS.

Beleive me, I do understand what you are going through. Not that it makes it better, but at least I feel like I am not that abnormal when I read others who have the same problems. Hopefully one of the oral meds will be sent to market within the next year or so; probabaly the one made by Novartis. All the best to you.

Close Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
Type: Relapsing-remitting MSI only recently diagnosed with MS after many years of health problems. I had a slight stroke Christmas so while hospital for that the doctor also diagnosed the MS. I am very grateful for the doctor finally finding my problem, not that I like the diagnoses but considering how long I had been suffering with things I couldn't understand I was relieved to have an answer.
Treatments
- Copaxone Working / Worked
- works well, I ahve side effects of the shots like pain, swelling and itching but as uncomfortable it is ,it is working well for me.
- Pamelor Working / Worked
- not helping
- Cymbalta Working / Worked
- HELPS WITH DEPRESSION NOT PAIN.
- Lexapro Working / Worked
- WORKS WELL FOR MY DEPRESSION.
