hi, my name is kimmie an i have to many things wrong to list, please see profile. sorry u have been through so much. i admire u for ur strenght. i am very strong person to. my mom told me something when my dad died when i was 8. "god grant me the serenity to accept the things that i cannot change, the courage to change the things i can change, the wisdom to know the difference. i am 44 and i say it every morning an it makes the day a little better. the ms is my main trouble. i take 1 morphin tablet 2 oxycodones a day for the pain. hope u can met some new friends people here are very supportive and love u unconditonally and we listen very well. take care.

thanks for your support, unfortunately, here in Nova Scotia, tests results take FOREVER!!!!!! lol They did tell me they could take up to 2 weeks as the lab has to do things. Keeping you in my thoughts and hope all goes well for you.

Close Trigeminal Neuralgia
i was diagnosed w/ TN 1 1/2 yrs ago. the pain was so bad at 1st they didnt know what it was. i had a tooth pulled and sinus surgery b4 they diagnosed me. i had a ruptured brain aneurism in 98. and breast cancer in 2005. now this. i dont know how much more my body can take.
Treatments
- Tegretol Working / Worked
- tegretol worked for me until i broke out with the hives. they put me on dilantin. i went into remission for severla months and the pain came back
Close Aneurysms
i had a ruptured anneurism back in 98. i was very lucky that i survived. i got up 1 morning felt this horrible pain in the back of my head then went unconscious. luckily my dog heard me gurgling and woke my brother by barking he then called 911. i ended up having it clipped. they actually put 3 clips in.
Treatments
- Surgery, Brain Working / Worked
- had the clipping. was told that i would be in hosp for 2 wks then a rehab. i went home after 13 days. i am a very lucky woman.
Open Breast Cancer
Stage: IIIB (Any N3)i was diagnosed w/ bc june 05. i had a mammo 10 months prior and was told it was normal. the 2nd mammo showed the tumor. a different radiologist read both of them and the tumor was there the 1st time. i had chemo 1st. then a mastectomy and lymph nodes taken. this nov will be 2 yrs of remission.

- Adriamycin Working / Worked
- very tired...and weak. my son was 2 at the time he basically pulled me through

Open Post Partum Depression
i had my son july 03. it was a plan pregnancy and my dream come true. ppd hit about 2 wks after he was born. i would cry all the time and not know why. i didnt want to hurt me or the baby. but i couldnt eat or sleep which made thing worse. they put me on paxil once it kicked in things got alot easier. 4 yrs later i am still taking the paxil because i am afraid to go off of it. i am doing good now with the pdd. however i have other medical conditions. hang in there. elaine
