I have had psoriasis since I was about 16. Basically it is on my elbows and knees and flares during the winter or when I am really stressed. It does not really bother me other than it is an annoyance I would rather not have. I hate when I am wearing shorts and someone says what is that on your knees. I would love to get rid of it but then wouldn't we all
My father had been sick for 15 years and basically should not have lived that long. He passed away over a year ago. Even though I know he is out of pain it is still hard to deal with a lot of the time. Holidays are the worst and then there are the things in everyday life that remind you of the person. i know that losing a loved one is never easy but I need help to get things in my mind and heart settled if that makes any sense.
I am a stepparent of a 14 and almost 16 year old. It is a challenge getting to know what to expect and what not to expect. The 14 year old is a boy who goes through mood swings like he is PMSing sometimes and I know that he has been through a lot in his short life and is testing me but I have been around long enough that things need to settle down some. Any input on dealing with teenagers is appreciated
I have been suffering from Migraines from the age of 16. I suffer from at least 1 a month because of hormones additional ones come from stress or allergies to artifical sweetners and red grapes.I take a preventive everyday and then I have something else for when I get the headache. I start by getting lines through my vision and then I will either get numbness in my hands and then the headache or just the headache.
I have been stuggling with my weight for many years. There have been times when the diets that I have tried worked and then something happens in my life and I gain wieght again. It gets very frustrating.
I have been married for 2 years to a wonderful man. I became a stepmom and now have a 14 year old stepson and almost 16 year old stepdaughter. My stepdaughter and I for the most part get along well. My stepson and I definitely have our moments. We have a string of really good weekends and then one or two really bad. My husband tries to be fair but then wants to be their best friend so I am always the bad guy and it drives me crazy. I do not always handle that so well.
My husband and I have been married almost 4 years and we have had our ups and downs. Most of which have been related to my stepchildren. The first year was the hardest and we are working on having a relationship that includes the kids but first and foremost takes care of us.
Between work and family stress can be high and need to figure out a way to deal with it.
