New Pain Now

I am having severe L shoulder/neck pain.  It started over a month ago and I thought that if I treated it conservatively that it would resolve on it's own.  No such luck.  I can feel tightness in my upper/mid traps.  My vertebral area hurts like all getout! I went to the doctor yesterday and they are scheduling an appt for an MRI on my neck asap.  I've had surgery on my left shoulder before, due to an injury, but it wasn't like this.  I hope they find the pain generator.

My day started out terrible, with waking 4 times during the night.  The first time was only 1.5 hrs. after going to bed!  Then all night it seemed that I had to get up and move around.  Also, running to the bathroom due to extra water last night.   This was on top of having sever pain in my neck and shoulder, too.  I can't wait to see what is going on in there.

I'm sorry that I am going on and on about myself.  There is a little boy that needs prayer today.  His name is Kellen and he was born with severe heart deformation.  He's had the 3rd and final surgery to correct it, but had many complilcations, including a stroke, leaking valve which required more surgery, visual problems(they don't know if he cann see anything).  He is only 1 year old.  He'll be 2 in Sept.  When I think of him and his family going through this, I feel like a whiner.  Please pray for Kellen and his family.
