Still doing well

I am down to 450 mg of trileptal twice a day this week. Still pain free after gamma knife surgery on Oct. 16th.

I had the gamma knife surgery on October 16th. Now I have to back off the trileptal to see if the surgery worked.

More pain today

Had to increase the trileptal to a total of 1050 per day. Getting gamma knife surgery on Thursday the 16 th.

i am sure stranger things have happened pabuddy. i always watch a lot of stories to see common denominators. so far i see a lot of tmj, some trauma stuff, dental procedures. whip lash etc. i was on a wild roller coaster ride and was very weird and sick when i came off of it. like couldn't get my balance, greener than grass. so i always wondered if my neck got a good crack. who knows. then i met a really nice guy from the south who swears it was after a roller coaster ride he got the facial pain....but my pain came years later for me. my dr always says nothings shows me why you have it. my job now is to make your life better. great dr. blessings for a pain free week jady

- after two weeks the pain came back.
- Tegretol Working / Worked
- Been on it off and on and it seems to work for TN pain.
- Elavil Not Working
- Didnt work much at all and caused my heart to beat rapidly.
- Trileptal Working / Worked
- Less side affects than Tegretal but not generic.
- Cymbalta Somewhat Helpful
- It may be working for TN pain but helps with depression.
