Spoke to my Mum today , it was as if nothing is wrong , so at this moment nothing is, but it is so good to hear her voice she is my mum i cannot say that enough. You know many of the world do not know about her. So in my journal you will see why i love her. She raised 12 children 6 boys 6 girls while my dad worked afternoon shift, growing up i was amazed at her ability to know where we all were and all the naughty things we got up too all over town. Amazing i think! Her own little net work of the bush telegraph i think, nope i know.( i was caught a few times by it ) We grew up fairly normal within a family of love , my mother was big on being yourself if you were a punk rocker well to her that was an expression of your individuality. Mum certinally wasnt stiff , she had 12 children she had to be flexible but with that came boundaries she enforced respect, honesty, comfort, empathy, loyalty and boundaries that were set in stone for a bunch of 12. Mum calls us her 12 apostles the thing she instilled in all of us is love , for that i am thankful and grateful. Mum is quite unique mixing the Australian bush and the city to her heritage and in the instrumentals of providing us with the best of both worlds the bush and the city. Not to many can handle 12 children in the bush she did it in both. Proud of her sure i am , with or without dementia. I love you mum me xoxoxo
