It is only February 3 and already this year I've had the flu twice and now I have a nasty stomach virus! i spent most of the day in the bathroom at work yesterday. I haven't been able to drink or eat anything in the last 24 hours. I'm thirsty and hungry! (I guess that's a good sign). The doctor said I had to stay hydrated, but every time I have a sip of water, it comes right back out. I have to stay home for three days... not exactly my idea of a break. I prefer to take my sick leave from work to do fun things.
Last week I had a bunch of blood work done to see what's going on. The lab found me to be in perfect health. The doctor said it could be stress...
...
I know I'm not crazy. I really don't think my health problems are psychosomatic.
I'm not even stressed out any more...
Here are some of my symptoms:
Cronic back pain,
joint pain
leg and arm cramps
cold feet
fatigue
frequent colds
headaches
ear aches
hair loss
Call me crazzy, I have a hard time believing a little bit of daily stress could cause all these.
I already asked the ex to lay down the voodoo doll.
...
maybe I should embrace this virus and let it help me loose the unwanted 30 lbs I've been carring around LOL

Hair loss is usually a sign of vitamin defficency or thyroid problems. Of course stress is very hard on your health. Maybe its time to seek a counselor if you have not already. That does not mean your crazy.
Wick
I do have a therapist Wick. He says I'm doing incredibly well, and I agree. My stress is just the normal single-parent-special-ed-teacher kind of stress.

Just a question..........if you are doing so incredibly well.............are you really being honest with yourself? Often depression is a hidden stressor that we do not want to admit. If you are not really opening up to your therapist, then avoidance is not necessarily bliss.
Meditation, exercise and eating healthy are good starts, a complete physical better yet, and really looking at your life to eliminate all the bad stress, even better...........
It is so difficult to be a single mother, and trust me I have two children, one a teenager, and another a tween............
I wish you well and that you find the source of the health problems.
Be happy.........

Just feel better soon.

Maybe you keep eating something that has been affected by all of these salmonella outbreaks? Throw away anything that isn't fresh, bleach your refrigerator, and see if you magically get better. Happened to one of my family members a few years back. They were chronically sick for an extended time and it turned out they kept getting sick from "frozen" food that had gone bad.
It could be stress, but that does seem like a bit of a stretch, since you've been under worse stress than this and held up better. I tend to agree with you that this is more likely physical and not psychological.
Think about what might have changed in your environment since you started getting chronically sick? New cleaners, new foods, new pollution sources, new animals, etc.. You'll probably figure it out if it's environmental.
Or...
Of course, we get attacked by our microscopic rivals in this ecosystem all the time and aren't even aware of it. You may just have a nasty germ that will take time to trigger the appropriate immune response. It happens. Try your best to get lots of antioxidant, protein-rich food and drink. Keep the booze to a minimum or cut it out entirely for a while. Get some regular, moderately strenuous exercise. Do all of that stuff when you can again and see if your (very beautiful, sexually superior) body rebounds.
Mario will make house calls for Latin goddesses. No charge. Call 1-800-QUACK if you feel faint.
Get well soon, V! Peace.
