WHAT A GYP Mood
Wednesday, November 4, 2009

The weather forecast said we could get rain/snow/sleet/hail or freeezing rain...so we got freezing rain for a couple of hours which later turned into just plain old rain like we had so much of already...had enough rain over night to fill my 55 gallon rain barrel (it was empty) and now we are "enjoying" some winds in the 45 MPH range...temps are still low enough 35*F that this shit could be snow but of course that's not happening here.

So today I did lots of house cleaning, dishes, dusting and then I took the Halloween decorations off the tree and put upt most of the Christmas stuff even if we don't have any snow...still have lots of ornaments to put on but am missing the little hanger things that I need.  We have the lights on now, have to run the generator because of the lack of sun so Neal is watching a movie and I'm playing online and the twinkle lights are busy twinkling...

Winter was supposed to see the doctor today at noon and then she said she'd call me "later" to let me know how everthing went....well it's nearly 4:30 here and I'm still waiting for that later to happen.  I hope he gave her an rx for the xanax or whatever, she sure needs to be back on that but she also needs something to clear up all the infection she still has in her head, ears, whereever...even with what she's had so far she is still not cleaned out and that's not a good sign.   I also hope he will retest her for the swine flu since she has been exposed and she does work with seniors...they don't need being exposed and WE dont' need to be exposed.

Well I'm going to keep this short...when the movie is over it will be time for me to fix dinner and then later we'll run the generator again and I'll get back online and may have some news from the kid for an update.

I'm feeling better today but still tireder then I think I should be and am sneezing, course I did dust and I am allergic to that dust so it could be nothing but normal.

Too bad there wasn't any snow. I don't really snow, but it is beautiful when it is falling. And, even though I have never lived in the snow, I still associate snow with Christmas. That's rather strange, yes?

I do hope Winter gets some help when she goes to the doc and gets the meds she needs. And you are right - none of you need to get sick.

I am allergic to dust and all kinds of things and I buy masks at the Home Depot which really help. I just use them when I am cleaning and when I brush my kitties. They are rather a pain, but they are worth it.

Well, at least you have lots of water now. There is always something good in everything.

    Hang in there

    Hugs,
    Chris

WE HAD OUR FIRST SNOW YESTERDAY. NOTHING TO MAKE A BIG DAHDOO ABOUT. IT DID LEAVE TRACES OF WHITE ON THE GROUND BUT IT IS GONE NOW. WE HAD RAIN LAST NIGHT. IT IS PRESENTLY AT 0*C/32*F. THEY WERE PREDICTING 2 TO 4 INCHES OF SNOW TODAY WITH HIGHT WINDS. THIS MAKES FOR A GOOD STAY AT HOME DAY.
POOR, WINTER, SHE HAS BEEN SICK WITH ONE THING OR ANOTHER FOR A LONG TIME. I AM WORRIED ABOUT HER. HOW DID SHE GET EXPOSED TO THE H1N1? YOU DEFINITELY DON'T NEED ANY CONTACT WITH THAT.
HOW IS THE NEW COMPUTER AND HIGH SPEED WORKING FOR YOU.
I AM STILL TRYING TO GET MY HANDS ON THE TWILIGHT SERIES. MY DAUGHTER CAN HARDLY WAIT TO SEE" NEW MOON" AT THE END OF THE MONTH. ALL THE TEENS AND EARLY TWENTY GIRLS ARE JUST GAGA OVER EDWARD. OH, I REMEMBER THOSE DAYS!!
WELL, HAVE I GOOD DAY AND STAY AWAY FROM THE DUST BUNNIES. DEBBIE
