Journal Entry for July 1, 2009 Mood
Wednesday, July 1, 2009 | A General Update story

I'm so glad I've been feeling better these last few days and have also been getting a lot of work done outside.  All this sun has really helped my mood and I've been trying real hard to space myself so when I do start feeling tried or over heated I just quit for a bit and even take a nap if I need to.  That is one of the blessings of our really long summer days, even long breaks of several hours leave you plenty of time to get back to it.

Actualy it would be wonderful to be up around 4 a.m and working outside, definately light enough to see what your doing and so peaceful about then but I'm sure the neighbors would not appreciate the sound of my lawn mower breaking this early morning tranquility.  I was out a bit after seven this morning and started pulling grass along the side of my flower bed.  After dinner and a movie I worked out there an hour or so last night, on the south section, pulling weeds and loosening up the soil so I could water and feed my new plants.  Got about half of that done and it looks so nice but when I walked out the door this morning to go get the dogs I noticed how high the grass is behind and along the flower bed and how it takes away from the look so I started pulling it up.  Now that I've done that I really feel the need to get back out and finish the job, would be so much easier if I were twins or something.  Each job I do makes me see two more that I want done so I bounce back and forth doing a bit of each but never seeming to finish any of them.  Well if this nice weather continues as long as they are forecasting I might manage to complete an area or two.

I did get the grass drive done except for the parts that need weed wacked.  Actualy if I get more cleared wiht the weed wacker I should be able to keep a lot of it up with the mower, it's just so high now and I can't see what's there so keep finding stumps and rocks and things that the mower doesn't like.    Winter is going to be out friday, I need to use the truck for that first of the month shopping and then she want's to borrow my stuff to work on her place.  Says she will bring it all home saturday when she's done.  Maybe she'll stay for some bar-b-que.  We're supposed to have wonderful weather throughout the week-end and I plan on bar-b-queing no matter what the weather is anyway.  It would be nice to have her home to visit for a change.  Well it's time for me to get back to work, my breaks been long enough and we have enough sun I can just get online whenever I do break.
