Sorry I have not been on here much, but have started my new job at the school(teaching assistant) and its going realy well. I work with two boys one age 7 and the other age 10, they both have dyslexia like me, The 10 year old would not even look at me in the class room, but now he always smiles and says thank you for helping him.The 7 year lod on the other hand still dont want to look at me, but I'm hoping to change that this week for he needs to learn his alpabet and for this he needs a one to one and thats me, so hopefuly he too will get to like me in the same way. I love this job and its made such a difference to the way I see myself, not just dyslexic but knowing I can do some good and pass on my confidence. HUGS JAA

Close Environmental Allergies
Type of allergy: Other~I have discovered I have a latex allergie through wearing laxet gloves all the time. I now get told if I want to wear non latex gloves i have to provide them my self.
Close Arthritis
I am 24 and I was dianosed with arthrities last year and I try not to let it run my life but I used to do a lot of high inpact sports but no longer allowed to do them which is a shame as i am a quite active person

Open Asthma
Type: Adult Asthmai have had astma since I was born but I grew out of it as a teenager then I got it back again. My son also suffers with asthma and has done since he was 11 months old.

- I try to do excercises to control my astma as I do not like taking medication for it.
- Inhaler Working / Worked
- I only take it when I have to as I don't like using it.

Open Dyslexia
I have benn tested and have been told i have a mild form of dyslexia. I try not to let it rule me as Im always writing and Im going to be training to work with special needs children
Open Anemia
Type: Iron Deficiency AnemiaI have low iron levels most of the times this is because I donate blood and have done since I was 17. I have to have a break now and again to let my iron levels build up again

- Iron Somewhat Helpful
- I had to stop taking them as I was becoming constipated all the time ehilst taking them. I just eat loads of different things with Iron in now to keep my levels up

Type: Social PhobiaI think this is strange but I have a phbia about other people being sick around me. If I see anybody else benn sick I am sick myself. I even have to get somebody else to clean up the sick after my child is sick.
