hi there ,thanks for the friendship request..i`ll be back on my own computer next week (joy73 is mums ds name)..so ,will send you one from my site name (Rocky7) ,if that`s ok??
Sorry to hear you`re still in alot of discomfort...it`s getting cooler ,and damper here (uk) now..and i find this temperature definately brings on my aches and pains ,with a vengance...ugh:(
Just trying to keep warm......load up my hot water bottles......(their everywhere i can place them!:)
It`s the constant ,nagging ,almost toothache-like pain ,that gets me down ,and really hurts most...i`m sure you understand that ,only too well..
Do you take anything for your pain??.When i had my last MRI scan (over 7 yrs ago now!) ,my dr/specialist told me ,as they were unable to operate saftely ,that they`d put me on the slow release morphine ,aswell as the liquid kind too....and whilst it`s helpful on very bad days ,i`ve found since i`ve been on them so long..the effects aren`t as good ,as they once were..
Unfortunately i`m allergic (severely) to any anti-inflammatory drugs....so ,its either sticking with the morphine..with occassionally muscle relaxants...or codeine type pain meds to get me through the days (and nights too..do ,you also have problems sleeping??)
Well ,look forward to getting to know each other more...will be around more next week ,as i`ll be home ,and having had dental surgery ,will have some more time on my hands....(not the ideal i guess!:)
You take care..hope the weekend will be a less painful one for you ,and you`ll get to relax a little.....
will write again soon...and maybe we can get to chat here some time??
meanwhile ,i send you lots of gentle hugs ,and love ,and hope to ttys.....have a good day....love sharon xoxoxox
ps...i also have high b/p...just noticed your status...hope they`ve managed to sort out your meds...here there is alot of negative write ups in the papers on our b/p drugs.
Going to read your latest post..take care!(((((hugs)))))

Hi there..i`m writing from my mums laptop ,as i`m staying with her ,whilst she recovers from surgery..
I saw your post in fibro ,and i too get horrible back and neck pains....it feels like its a searing ,burning pain....that travels from my neck...down my back ,into my shoulder blades ,and often through tomy chest..
I do hope you can get some relief ,i find lavender oil is helpful....massaged into the painful areas....also a warm soak can help relieve the discomfort..
Am here if you ever want an ear to bend ,or just a friend to talk to....take care of you....feel better soon....much love ,and gentle hugs....sharon (rocky7..my usual username) xoxoxox

    • I’m With You

      From JudyFruity August 13

I am really sorry you had to go through that with your doctor. I've been so close to changing doctors myself after he belittled me and yelled at me. For now, I see one of his PA's and I like her alot. I am still trying to find the right med. for high cholesterol. My high bp is being controlled now. Maybe this happened for a reason and you will find an understanding doctor. Best way to find a good one is have one recommended by a friend. Try asking around. Take care and I hope you have a good weekend. Hugs, Judy

      Cymbalta Somewhat Helpful
I use for about eight months, but I start to have headaches everyday, all day. I stopped taking cymbalta about two months ago. I have only had two headaches within that two months without taken cymbalta. At this time I think I will keep myself off the meds for a while. Happy to be headache free for now.
