    • Close Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

I first experienced anxiety exactly one week after I had my son in 2003. The doctors told me for 5 years that my anxiety and unwanted horrific thoughts were post partum depression....which was ridiculous 5 years after giving birth. I was finally referred to an anxiety clinic at a local hospital which is when I was diagnosed with OCD. My thoughts are sexual and about my child and occassionally other children. Sometimes I can go for months without experiencing these thoughts but then the smallest thing will trigger them. I have tried everything for medication...Celexa, Paxil, Effexor, Citralapram and was off meds for a year and a half until 3 weeks ago I started on Zoloft. I have also tried CBT therapy which only helps a little. I know Im not capable of doing any of these horrific acts, but sometimes the thoughts are so strong that I feel like I am going insane ann will act on these thoughts.
