Hey, there you are. I was wondering what was up with you. I hadn't heard from you in so long I thought you wouldnt be back. How has everything been going for you? I'm still right where you left me. I know, it's disappointing and I know everyone tells me I'm doing everyone a disservice, but I cant help it. It's just not going to happen right now. I hope things have been smooth for you. I saw your post in PMS and I also have PMDD just diagnosed recently. I am on Zyprexa.

Close Psoriasis
Affected Areas: Psoriasis of the SkinI've had psoriasis for about 12 years. I would consider it a mild to moderate case.

- Tanning helps to clear me as long as I continue to tan.
Close Hypothyroidism
After treating Graves disease with meds for over 3 years, I had my thyroid killed via radioactive iodine. I am now hypothyroid and taking synthetic hormones.
Treatments
- Armour Thyroid Somewhat Helpful
- Armour was harder to regulate in my system than Synthroid
- Synthroid Working / Worked
- Currently using Synthroid
Open Breakups & Divorce
I'm currently in the middle of my 2nd divorce.
Treatments
- Couples Counseling Not Working
- You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink. He went "through the motions" of going a few times but never followed up by using what he'd learned.
- Psychotherapy Working / Worked
- Going to personal counseling gave me the tools I needed to deal with the situation from my perspective. I went to personal counseling after couples counseling failed.
Open ADHD / ADD
My 8 year old is ADD. My 12 year old was diagnosed ADD, but has not been medicated for several years and is thriving.
Treatments
- Adderall Working / Worked
- 8 year old is currently using. Very little side effects and it seems to help him a lot. He gets A's and B's in school.
- Clonidine Not Working
- Clonidine was wicked on my daughter. She was only on it for a short time due to hallucinations.
- Concerta Working / Worked
- The side effects were too great (radical mood swings coming down and no weight gain in 1 year) that I discontinued use of this with my daughter.
- Strattera Not Working
- This medicine didn't seem to be very effective compared to the others.
Open Child Support & Custody
I'm currently in the middle of a divorce with my 2nd husband. Biologically, we have 2 children together (ages 6 and 5).
Treatments
- Cardura Working / Worked
- Court ordered mediation worked for my stbx and myself regarding custody. However, he is now attempting to change what we agreed on. We'll see how it all turns out.
Open Pre-menstrual Syndrome (PMS)
I was diagnosed with PMDD a couple of years ago. I also have thyroid issues so I'm not sure if this is truly PMDD or complications from my thyroid.
Treatments
- Effexor Too Soon to Tell
- Started Effexor mid April. It seems to be helping but I won't know for sure for a couple of months.
Open Bipolar Disorder
My brother is bipolar. I believe my father was bipolar. I also believe my other brother is bipolar, though he's never been diagnosed. I'm concerned my 12 year old daughter may be as well.
