Close Eating Disorders
Type: AnorexiaI have had an eating disorder twice in my life... stopped it in 2005 ... but since then gained back all the weight I lost and then some... now I want to learn how to loose this weight safely with out going back to my old ways of an eating disorder again.
Treatments
- Celexa Not Working
- I was allergic to it.
- Lexapro Working / Worked
- it worked for me but my husband and I want to have a baby when I lose some weight and it's not safe to take while i'm pregnant.
- Prozac Not Working
- It made me very angery all the time and I would be mean to people and didnt like that so I stopped taking it.
- Psychotherapy Working / Worked
- I love my councler and she is helping me as much as she can.
Close Physical & Emotional Abuse
When I was 12 my mom met someone online who live in an other country and she abandoned me ... she made me go live with my dad ... who was verbally/mentally abusive to me for 6 years when I lived with him.
Treatments
- Leave Working / Worked
- I had sevear IBS because I was so stressed out all the time, I also had an eating disorder and was a cutter... all of that has gotten better since I moved out of my fathers house and moved in with my husband. My IBS still acts up when I am stressed but it's alot better.
- Music Not Working
- I listened to "depressing" music when I live with my father and it made it so much worse... I however have found that now 4 years later if I listen to christian/worship music it brings me some piece and makes me believe in god.
- Psychotherapy Somewhat Helpful
- We are slowly working on all off the differant probalms I have had ... we talk about the mental abuse on occasion every so often she brings it up so I dont have to deal with it all at once and go into a heavy depression.
- Talking Too Soon to Tell
- usually if I talk about my problams with my husband I get panick attacks and crying spells ... sometimes so bad that I throw up... I always feel like I am taking it out on him and that he doesnt understand.
Open Infertility
Type: Ovarian IssuesMy husband and I have been ttc #1 since june 2007 and we found out in feb 2008 That I have PCOS ... we still have had no luck.
Treatments
- Femara Too Soon to Tell
- I have taken 3 cycles of it... hasnt worked yet but we are not going to take it for a while untill i have lost some weight and we can try agian.
- Folic Acid Too Soon to Tell
- I take it every day for several months ... dont know if it's working or not.
- Metformin Too Soon to Tell
- I took it for a while and stopped because I could never remember to take it twice a day ... but I am starting to take it agian next week because I heard that it really helps you loose weight and I really need to lose some weight before I can get pregnant.
- Ovulation Predictor Kit Not Working
- I dont ovulate on my own so these tests didnt work for me.
- Progesterone Somewhat Helpful
- I had 3 shots of it 4 days apart in July but that was the only time i've taken it.
