I was a short order cook and dishwasher. I loved my job. Now I'm on sick leave. It's been 8 months. I tried to work with it, I really did. I worked with this for 6 months before I started passing out at work from the pain. I didn't have any pain killers, and I laughed at people who asked me if I'd tried Advil.

Close Endometriosis
It started in Feb. 2006. Came as a small pain in my lower abdomen. Then it got worse and worse day by day. I've been to 8 different doctors, and 2 specialists. They've put me through almost every test. I've been treated for urinary tract infections, irritable bowel syndrome, I've had a colonoscopy, CAT scan, HIDA scan, ultrasounds galore...Now finally, I'm going for a laparscopy.
Treatments
- Surgery Too Soon to Tell
- Don't know yet. Laparscopy's at the end of may.
- Laparoscopic Surgery Not Working
- At first I thought the pains I was getting were just phantom pains...But in hindsight, I don't thinkt he surgery helped me at all. It wasn't even 2 months after my first surgery that I already called and made my appointment with my specialist.
