I have never ever done something like this before and not sure what to say. My mom helped me set this up so I mean I have never really done something like this before.
As I said in my profile I am 17 and a senior in high school. Next year I want to go to college but not sure where. I think I want to be a teacher and maybe teach art to grade school children.
Until about 18 months ago my life was a mess. That was when a lady named Jennifer became my new mother. She had two younger boys who I babysat for a while and that's how I met her. My birth parents didn't want me and left me with Jennifer while they moved to Las Vegas without me. They said they would be back for me in June but by that time they were in trouble legally and I couldn't and wouldn't go live with them. My birth father is an asshole. He was never nice to me and abusive and that's all I want to talk about him other then he's in prison for about 15 years for armed robbery. I really just hate him. My birth mom is in a halfway house somewhere trying again to stay off drugs.
My life today is good. My adopted mom is my mom. She cares so much about me and I love her for everything she has done for me. At times I think she is kind of strick but I know she does it to teach me about how to be a better person. She is always on me to get good grades.
My new family includes two brothers who are 11 and 9. The oldest is ok but the younger one can be pain in the butt sometimes. I also have a step sister who is 7 and won't leave me alone when ever she's around. I guess I'm supposed to be a big sister but she will ask me so many stupid questions at times and gets into my things. My step dad is a science teacher at the high school I go to and is great. We played on a soft ball team this fall and I had a fun time. My mom's sister and her husband live next door to us and they are fun and nice. They have a little girl who is so cute and I babysit sometimes for them.
I also have a red VW convertible that I am paying my mom back for. I work at a retirement community helping with meals and helping with other things the people that live there may need help with.
