I'm a stay at home mom of 3. I've been married for 6 years. I LOVE to read, watch movies, and do pretty much anything but am home a lot with the kids. I'm very close to my mom and have 2 brothers. I have 3 cats. I'm 32 and have lived in Massachusetts all my life. I'm never sure what to say here, so feel free to ask me anything! :)

Just sending out a few Happy Thanksgiving Hugs! Close Hydrocephalus
They believe I was born with it, but I wasn't diagnosed til I was about a year old. Since the placement of a VP shunt I have had 5 revisions, the most recent at the end of 2005 when they replaced all the tubing. The shunt part itself is 21 years old and I'm always freaked out it's going to break. I suffer migraines and worry about my shunt constantly. I hate hydrocephalus and suffer depression and anxiety as well.
Treatments
- Shunts Working / Worked
- Have had 5 revisions, has worked and is working. Obviously after time it breaks down and needs repair and I hate that I have to go through that for the rest of my life.
