I was diagnosed in 2003. I was one of those who's acute stage was very symptomatic. Which I suppose was my immune systems way of fighting, which in turn, lead me to the dr! I was under specialist care for over 6 months and discussion a treatment plan, when the dr's realised my previous PCR was negative. I tested over the next year, and all were negative. But in my head it just never goes away.......
