Moved to Arizona from Ohio 12 1/2 yrs ago with wife of (now) 30 years. We have 2 married daughters and a married son with wonderful spouses. They have provided us with five beautiful grandchildren ages 2 1/2 to 12. We have a great West Highland terrier, Maggie. I am a real estate agent and work also for Ford Motor Credit. My wife and I enjoy travelling and the beautiful southwest.

My husband also fights MRCC in lungs. His surgery was last September and we thought he was clear, but no. It reappeared after just 3 months. How about you?
Did you have a quick recurrence or was it a long while? Much luck to you ......

Hi - just to say that I'm thinking of you, and you can find a lot of support here.
My partner has also just been taken off Sutent, like you, after 2 months, and the next stage is not yet clear - so I can relate in some way to the uncertainties that you're feeling.

Close Renal Cell Carcinoma (Kidney Cancer)
Diagnosed with rcc March 2008. Kidney removed June 2008. Stage 4 in June 2009. Persistent cough. Had spread to rt lung and lymph nodes. Spent 2 months on Sutent. Just learned that tumor size and number has increased. Waiting to hear best recommendation from Dr. after he talks with radiology.
Treatments
- Nephrectomy Not Working
- Removed rt kidney 6/2008. Spread to lung by April 2009.
- Sutent Not Working
- Took for 2 months. Was just taken off today. Not sure yet of next treatment.
