Welcome to DS. I am sorry for your loss. My husband suffered with his physical and mental well being. I took care of him for 9 years. I understand the loneliness you are feeling. At first I felt so empty. I was so use to putting him first and then after he died, I felt helpless. It will get easier. Good luck, Hugs

I'm glad you decided to join us and share your grief and goals here with us. I have found my friends here irreplaceable. They understand our feelings without judgement and support our pain. My husband died June 2007 from lung cancer 10 weeks after diagnosis. It's a hard path but you'll make it and we're here to help. sharon

I am so sorry for your loss. My husband of almost 30 years died on September 29, 2009. For the last several years, he had been ill and except for work my life revolved around him and caring for him. I understand your pain. You have come to the right place. Sandy

i lost my wife in september 2009,we were together for 19 years,i am struggling so much,my wife had mental health problems and i gave up everything and everyone to support her,now she has gone im left with no friends just family,but as time goes my family are getting on with there own lives and now im left alone and unhappy
