Good to get you note. Just waking up and geting ready to work. Close Scoliosis
I was diagnosed with Scoliosis when i was in the 6th grade, 2001, I was only 12 yrs old and then i moved to a new country and later had surgery. . and have lived with it and its limitations ever since.
Treatments
- Brace Somewhat Helpful
- "wore" he brace for a year befroe my surgery... im sure if i wasnt always stuffing it in my locker it may have helped
- Harrington Rods Working / Worked
- Its been just over 5 yrs since my surgery. i have my limitations but it helped out a lot.
Open Self-Injury
I started in 9th grade and cont. to harm myself until the end of my senior year. it was worst durning my freshman and junior year. but through the help of my friends, my faith, and myself i've been clean almost 2 years now.
Treatments
- Rubber Bands Not Working
- honestly i tried it for almost a month... it didnt help me personally
- Talking Working / Worked
- very helpful, even though i was stupid and hard headed
- Tattoos Working / Worked
- still working... i LOVE the feeling. I get one wth meaning on it. but the feeling is amazing... i have 5 so far.. and ready fo rmy next
Open Physical & Emotional Abuse
I dated this guy my junior year the liked to put his hands on me... i let him... he'd even give me a choice sometimes... Have sex or get hit... wow.... how mice of him .lol... i dont hate hime. i didnt talk to him for 2 1/2 years... then a couple months ago i found him omn myspace and said hi...no one ever knew at the time. we told his mom and dad and he got help but he didnt change..... and i didnt tell anyone until after we broke up what happened.

- same story. he knew I JUST got out of a terrible relationship with an abusive, possesive, contolling bf and he was willing to be there still. he's taught me a lot too.
