The last week has been very trying, but it gets better as it goes on. I was diagnosed on October 24th. Luckily, so far, I only needed self-injections of Lovenox for less than a week after leaving the hospital. They are still fiddling with my dosage of coumadin. I think it will be awhile until my INR is regulated. I need to work on eating a more consistent diet, and I fo enjoy a glass or two of wine on the weekends. Thankfully, I don't smoke, or I'd feel worse. I am still somewhat short of breath, and my lungs still have pain. I go back to work on Friday. We shall see how well I handle that. Hopefully, I will just be standing at a door checking badges.
I'm trying to play catch-up in school. I'm a 31 year old single mom who goes to school full-time. Last semester I had severe gall stones and pancreatitis, and had my gall bladder removed. I think that due to my health issues as of late my teachers have written me off as some kind of failure. I just have to keep fighting.
