I am mother to three wonderful kids, ages 9, 2, and 7 months. My husband was a widower, with a 4 year old son, at the time we met. We have been married three years now. Currently I am a homemaker, but would like to get back to my career as a nurse if I see a good opportunity come my way. After losing my father to cancer, I feel I haven't been the wife, mother, and friend I used to be. I want to work through my grief so that I can be the wife and mom I want to be, not the sad and lonely one I am now.

My father passed away from cancer in March of 2009. He was my best friend, loving grandparent, and amazing father. My grief has seemed to worsen in the past month or so and I find it hard to talk about it with others who can't relate to me. Looking for inspiration, words of wisdom, and a place to find solace.
