21 year old girl who is so confused about my condition, i have pcos. i am currently trying to find out if i also have endometriosis. I work as a carer as a profession. i live with 2 other girls who also have pcos-bit of a coincidence. I have just started what i would call a serious relatioship :) yay!!!

Close Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS)
ummmmm......well i got diagnosed when i was 20 i believe after a lot of your young your hormones just need to settle diagnoses, when i was younger i had a lot of gaps betweeen me periods and they would often been painful and very heavy and cloty since the age of 18 i have had far to many periods i was on my period for nearly almost 5months straight and currently have been having a period for 6 or 7 weeks now :(
Treatments
- Metformin Too Soon to Tell
- starting today :)
- Oral Contraceptives Too Soon to Tell
- bleed throufgh a few pills just trying a new one; currently on cerazette doesnt seem to be working (17tablets taken) soon to start microgynon
- Progesterone Too Soon to Tell
- ummm well curently seems to either be making worse or no differnece at all, only 5 tablets in tho...so time will tell (hopefully)
Close Physical & Emotional Abuse
i watched my mum being violently abused when i was a child by my dad. myself and my sister were also victims. I have also worked in a womens refuge and seen abuse in many different ways
