11/3/09 -Today I joined the cirrhosis group. I am so afraid.
I have a constant headache now that feels like a sinus headache behind my eyes, had an episode of itching (August) noticed the tips of my left had peeling and have abdominal discomfort on the left when I inhale deeply, constant thirst, chills and a moderate fever - 99.5, 100 which normalizes later in the day. Can't sleep worth beans. Today I am home from work with the flu (fever, joint aches and no appetite) I took two days of a couple of weeks ago because of anxiety of this condition. My sister is diagnosed, mother probably died of it, and I also have back pain in the upper quadrant.
I have always been anemic but this reversed when taking vitamin C.
I have been thinking of having the ultrasound and blood test requested by the doctor. I will loose my pilot's licence immediately. There is no cure - so why go in? The doctors immediately put you on a list for it seems liability.
Yes, I wish that life could be normal and carefree.
