About Me
I am retired from the U.S. Navy as a Chief Petty Officer(1992). I have worked a variety of jobs since retirement. After over a year of foot problems I was diagnosed with severe RA in my feet and ankles in June 2009. Currently I am going to college full time for medical billing and coding. Looking for a new profession that I can do from the comfort of my rear. Married for 29 years and have a beautiful grandaughter. Love gardening, fishing, used to love long walks. I am a consertive catholic.

Close Rheumatoid Arthritis
Looking for people that can relate to the pain and problems that I am experiencing with RA. Would like to ask questions and give answers to others. Just need to have a little support from outside the family unit.
Treatments
- Folic Acid Somewhat Helpful
- Helps with the methotrexate which makes me sick
- Methotrexate Not Working
- My pain level seems to be the same. My symptoms are getting worse if anything. This stuff makes me sick for about 18 hours when I take it every Wed. night
- Prednisone Working / Worked
- I Don't know if it worked or not. Would have to say probably not.
- Remicade Not Working
- This taken with methotrexate is supposed to really provide relief quickly. I have not experienced any relief, in fact my right foot is getting worse and the left foot and ankle are much worse. I have been taking it for several months now. I read about how people are able to get back to an active life style within a few weeks, not happening for me.
