Hug
I know how hard it is. We had Sofia (9.12.08) for an amazing 26 days before she became an angel. Each day, I thank God for getting pregnant and to have such an angel come to Earth -- no matter how brief.
She taught us so much. And, we'll always be her Mommy and Daddy -- what a blessing. I recommend chatting with other parents at trisomy18.org. Victoria Miller, Director, has done an amazing job at bringing Tri 18 parents together.
Cry when you need to but find laughter, too. I went to a lot of movies and long walks for the escape. The peaks and valleys of emotion become a little less severe as time passes. But, communicating with your DH and giving each other endless hugs is key. Honoring your sweet Baby Boy through a memorial garden or tree is a good way to express your love for him as his Mommy and keep his memory alive.
I wish you peace and inner healing as you continue on your journey.
Prayer
It doesn't get easier, God just makes you stronger. He gives us nothing we cannot handle. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and he will help you. Love your husband and do not let it come in between you. That is what is happening with my god daughters parents. I'm here for you!
