My weigh in at weight watchers is today, and I am alittle nervous! Last time I went I lost so much weight after the first week. And 2 days ago i was on my wii fit and according to it I have lost only.5 lbs. thats annoying! I was hoping for more then that, I was thinking around 2lbs a week would be great if possible. (i have a wedding to go to in Aug, so the more weight the better :)) My other delema is that I want to get pregnant... thats why I am losing this weight in the first place... but now should i go on bc to get down to my 150 that i want or should i just let it happens if it happens and then when im done my pregnancy continue losing weight... Im not too sure. (ive been trying to get pregnant for over 3 years now). SOOOO I am in a pickel, and my doc said once i lose 10% of my body weight I should be able to start ovulating and then my chance of pregnancy is good.... so i am conflicted on how i feel about it... part of me wants to wait until i lose the weight.. but part of me says hell no, ive been waiting for a babby for too many years to wait longer then we have too. So im not sure exactly what the plan is but i think i should figure it out sooner then later... lol any imput is welcome!

I think you should continue with both...losing weight and trying to get pregnant. You want both... hopefully you get both.. you know you can control the weight loss - the other will be what it will be! But if you do get pregnant continue with your Drs help at losing weight.
I wish you a house full of children....hanging out the windows!

thanks so much! thas kind of what i am thinkin. over weight people can lose some weight still while pregnant in the beginning (under doc watch) and when they get farther along they can maintain a weight, as long as you arent depriving yourself and just eating healthy! It just sucks that i may get close to my goal and then im preggers lol.. i mena i would be more then happy, but at the same time i would be like "damn, I was almost skinny" lol

I agree - continue to do both. The medical establishment has historically gone back and forth about whether pregnant women should gain weight or not. When my mom was pregnant in the late 50s and early 60s, her doctor told her not to gain any weight. So my mom lost weight during both of her pregnancies. She didn't deprive herself, she just ate chicken or fish and salad for dinner instead of meat and potatoes. Look at it this way - if you lose weight before getting pregant, and don't go crazy gaining weight while you are pregnant, you will have much less weight to lose after your have your baby. It won't be so hard, and if you breast feed, maybe it will come right off. (I've read that this is a benefit of breast feeding.)

You will figure it out...but in the meantime, wishing you every success with both....Can see what you mean about being double minded regarding getting so close to goal and then getting pregnant....lol....hope and pray you are so blessed xxx
