I currently just got out a long distance relationship with a recovering heroin addict. He was in a program, however was not practicing it is full and had already relapsed. I'm not sure if he was truly clean. I finally realized that although I cared about him, he cared more about drugs then he did about me. When he used he did not care about how much he hurt me, so I had to take care of myself. This is a lot easier said then done because I still worry about him everyday, but in the end I just have to remind myself that it is his choice to get clean and I can do nothing to influence that.

- I tried to be patient with him and work with him through his recovery but in the end it was destroying me. I am now trying to give the break up time.

- I went on it for a year when they began. I have been off of it for 2 years however my panic attacks are increasing so I may begin using it again.

I suffer from anxiety attacks.
