About Me
I am 20 years old and I have been suffering from Bulimia for about 2 consecutive years now. However, I experienced bulimic tendencies at the age of 14. I'm striving to recover, but I have become so dependent on my ED that it has become nearly impossible for me. I'm here to seek help and offer my support to everyone here who needs a helping hand and a thoughtful prayer. . . <3

Close Bipolar Disorder
I suffer from Bipolar Disorder.
Treatments
- Depakote Not Working
- I took Depacote for a limited time in the very early stages of the diagnosis of my biploar disorder, I was so young and I don't remember it having much affect on me at all.
- Lamictal Somewhat Helpful
- Topamax Not Working
- While I was taking Topamax, I was barely able to formulate a sentence. It severely delayed my pyschomotor and drained me of all my energy. The ony positive factor of taking this medication was that it suppressed my appetite.
- Prozac Working / Worked
- Helps me mostly with my Depression and Bulimia but it also helps with my biploar disorder when taken in combination with an anticonvulsant i.e Lamictal.
Close Eating Disorders
Type: BulimiaI am suffering from Bulimia/EDNOS and am seeking support for full recovery.
Treatments
- Prozac Working / Worked
- Mostly helps with my Depression, but doesn't suppress my appetite/OCD very well.
- Psychotherapy Somewhat Helpful
- Undergoing pyschotherapy helps put the dangers I am inflicting ipon myself into perspective. But it usually fails to deter me from engaging in ED behavior.
- Support from Friends & Family Somewhat Helpful
- The last person I want to see hurt is my mother, and I know my ED affects her the greatest out of everyone else in my life. My [close] friends are also very supportive.
- Topamax Somewhat Helpful
- I was on Topamax for a few months and it suppressed my appetite just fine; the down side was that I was exhausted all the time and unable to formulate any thoughts.
