Close Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
Type: Relapsing-remitting MS

Diagnosed in mid-90's at about age 35. Relapses come once or twice a year. Usually treated with solumedrol. No other meds have been used on a regular basis. Not much contact with fellow MS sufferers although would like to have it.

Treatments

Baclofen Not Working

took for leg cramps. didnt work

Neurontin Working / Worked

took for tingling, burning etc. didnt work

Prednisone Working / Worked

took as a taper coming off solumedrol IV. decreased withdrawl effects

Provigil Working / Worked

took for sleepiness/fatigue

Solumedrol Working / Worked

never pleasant but seems to do the job. side effects and withdrawl symptoms are miserable but worth the pain relief in the long run
