  Hi I have a son in Afghanistan right now and worry constantly about the damage that will happen to his soul, spirit and well being I have a number for PTSD help but its at work and can't get it till Tues. Do you have a VA anywhere near you they are finally treating these guys with excellent phycolgists and group therapy big thing is they got to talk about it the more the better. I lived with a Viet Nam vet who still has some issues but he talks now and also had to shoot a child who was going to bomb their base. He needs physiological therapy and he needs to talk and with other fellas who have done that been there they will teach him coping skills. For your saftey I highly recommend the sooner the better he may not want to hurt you but if they go to that zone its hard to get them out. Also physical exercise and alcohol can make it worse. I will find that number for asap. Hang in there mom your not alone I am so worried about my son mental state and he was suppose to be back by now but I'm thinkin with the so called re-election he has to stay thru Nov. He's a marine and I'm so very proud and worried at the same time. You are not alone and your in my prayers. Stay strong and look for resouces in your area even call a local VFW for info. Hugs Mary
