About Me
I'm here because I lost my 48 year old son Randy on July 26, 2009 almost 4 years to the date of his 9 hour surgery to remove a brain tumor at the base of his skull. It was not cancer, but so embeded in the nerves that removing it caused permanent damage and disability. Another surgery this past March revealed scar tissue so embedded around the brain stem that recovery was unlikely, he never left the hospital until the day of his death. It's been a long hard battle. He is now out of pain and at peace.

I can't imagine what you have been through for all those years and, truly, words fail me. We have several other moms who have been in similar situations and my heart aches for all of you. My hope is that you will find peace and comfort in the arms of the beautiful women of ForMomsOnly. God bless - Barbara/EvansMom
