Happily married (20 years) and mom of 3 boys 17, 14 and 11. The youngest with Aspergers. He was diagnosed in 2003 but not before lots of other diagnosis were suggested, but nothing ever fit until AS. We first started taking him in for evaluations when he was 3. They said he may be gifted and talented. By 6, the school was telling me he was borderline mentally disabled. I knew that wasn't right. He is incredibly smart once you get past all the social stuff. I am still holding out for Gifted and Talented. I think he has a lot to offer the world. Philosophy: Live and let live.
