Well, my first goal has been reached!  I wish that I didn't have PCOS, but I am so thankful to know what is wrong with me.  Thanks to some great advice from all of the wonderful people here, I found a great doctor!  Things have happened so quickly...I only joined this site about a week or so ago and got the recommendation for this doctor on Saturday.  I called at 8:00 Monday morning and had to leave a message with the financial dept (they verify insurance before they allow anyone to schedule).  They returned my call at 3:00 that afternoon, verified my insurance and just happened to have had a cancallation for the next day (Tuesday)!!!!  I couldn't believe I was able to get in so quickly.  I went to the appointment and it took about 2 minutes after the doctor to come in for her to diagnose me with PCOS......after 10 years of trying to find out what was wrong with me.....she knew in 2 minutes!!!!!!!  I was sooooo relieved yet sooooo frustrated for all of the time I have wasted.  I know, though, that everything happens for a reason and a purpose.  I don't know why I've (or any of us) have had to struggle with the things we struggle with, but I know it isn't in vain. Thank you, God!!!
