Oh Look what frost on yond pumkin do shine...
da cold wind blows, have I lost my mine...
Look Look...in yond darkness it moves...
ever so close it comes.. near or far my heart is faint...
my hands do trimble... darn that fence needs a coat of paint...
awe there in the distance... what creature do lurk..
with it's flash lite handy ...floresent orange shirt...
A troll prehaps, or a monster do stir..
they come so fast it all a blurr...
Look Look... it so sad I say....
the bowl is empty but they don't go away...
Bolt the door I say... turn out the lights...
we all outta of goodies and it 's Holloween nite....

From the darkness we watch as the creatures trodd by...
beware the glance of a watchful eye....
to our empty bowl our heart do cling...
our greatest fear is the door bell will ring....
