      Treatments

      Shunts Not Working
      The shunt worked for 10 years for my father. Then a few months ago he started to have the same symptoms he orginaly had. The doctor checked the shunt and said it was working fine.She drained some fluid and said the pressure was ok. Every day I see him getting worst. He has a lot of trouble walking and memory is getting worst. They said they can't take anymore fluid out. That she's down to the lowest setting.
