Close Anxiety
Because I feel better when I have people to talk to, who have had similar expierences or feelings. Over 20 years I've been a sufferer of Anxiety/Panic/Phobias.
Treatments
- Ativan Working / Worked
- I've been taking it so long I need it or I get withdrawl anxiety. Takes away mental anxiety but not physical anxiety.
- Breathing Exercises Not Working
- I can't concentrate, and I tense up and gag when I try it. Usually end up with a sore chest afterwards.
- Paxil Considering
- I've taken it before with no problems. Cept the withdrawal brain zaps (which aren't painful just annoying) .. Considering again.
- Positive Thinking Not Working
- I am the most negative person in the world. I'm trying but it hasn't helped me yet.
Close Phobia
Type: HypochondriaI've been an Emetophobic (fear of vomiting) since I was a child. I've avoided most things in life because of it and its recently been causing me to avoid social situations.
Open GERD & Heartburn
GERD sufferer off and on for approx 15 years. Seems to be more severe now then it has been, I'm attributing it to stress/anxiety.
Treatments
- Antacids Somewhat Helpful
- Sometimes yes, sometimes no.
- Avoid Certain Foods / Chemicals Somewhat Helpful
- Still heartburn occasionally. Better bowels now tho.
- Ginger Working / Worked
- Take it all the time, dunno if it works.
- Pepto-Bismol Working / Worked
- Nice stomach coating. Temporary relief !
- Raising Bed Position Too Soon to Tell
- Just started few days ago.
