Close Multiple Myeloma
Stage: IIII have MM and would like to chat with others facing the same struggles
Treatments
- Chemotherapy Working / Worked
- I started with Valcad and Dex but the cancer was actually growing. So we added Revlimid and it has been amazing.
- Dexamethasone Considering
- We are not going to take it for the next 3 weeks to see if it has any additive benefit. It seems that Revlimin is doing all the work. No side effects
- Revlimid Working / Worked
- I have been very lucky in that my side effects have been minimal and easily tolerated
- Velcade Considering
- Only side effect was it made me tired
- Zometa Working / Worked
- I have no side effects.
- Relaxation Working / Worked
- We are leaving on Friday for a week in Hawaii The Big Island. My oncologist is concerned about my low white cell counts. So he wrote a couple of antibiotics so I can call him and he will tell me what to take. I am looking forward to relaxing!
