Diagnosed with Acromegaly on 21 October 09, still coming to terms with it and trying to find out all I can. Was diagnosed by my Diabetic Consultant. Just had my MRI Scan after which I've been told to expect surgery. In the meantime trying to stay happy and enjoying looking after my 2 young children full time - not missing my job too much!

Films, almost all genres. Favorites include '12 Angry Men', 'Shawshank Redemption', 'Planes, Trains and Automobiles', 'Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind' and too many more to mention! Love reading, but haven't had a lot of time to do it lately. Also enjoy country walks, music and going out.

Sorry about your diagnoses, but at least you know what it is now! Welcome to the family and although I haven't been on here much recently I can tell you I found so many friends here and so much support! So don't be afraid to ask questions or for support!
