Support Groups
Close Alcoholism
To have support and encouragement to help me in my battle against alcohol. I don't have any kind of a support system and I hope to find that here as well as being able to offer support and encouragement to others.
Treatments
- AA Meetings Not Working
- It did not work for me. I try to get something out of each meeting but overall I'm not sure how it's supposed to help me.
- Outpatient Treatment Program Somewhat Helpful
- It was one of the best things I've ever tried but only partway through my mom refused to keep my kids anymore so I could continue.
Close Loneliness
I have little family and we are not close. I don't really have vut a couple of "friends" and I never see them. One calls occasionally and the oher is through school and we pretty much only talk when it is school related. How can I live in this city and be so isolated?
