Close Hepatitis C

I met my partner earlier in january this year. It was a first sight kind of thing and it was obvious from the start that this would be something special. the day after I met him he told me he had cancer to his liver. .He's 32 I met him in a a pretty dark fase, he had only found out 3 months previously and he didn't really have a strong social networkhe to support him... he was still playing around with alcohol and drugs and had lost a bit hope in everything. he comes from a very toubled childhood full of abuse and aggression and the cancer was a blow for him.... it was hard but I told him that we would fight this together....and we did... the day he had his radiofrequency ablation he found out he had Hep C.... another blow..... but he fought the cancer and that was a great success.... since then, I managed to convince him to get off drinking for good and in the last couple of weeks he has left weed as well.... he's been on Interferon for almost 2 months now.... we can't describe the treatment anyway different than a rollercoaster (a six flag one) and although I though it would be much worse (and I know for many it is) it's still taking it's toll on us sometimes. I believe in people and sharing so I came here to look for support and advice.... I'm his rock, but sometimes I don't know where to get my resources cuz I'm just a kid really and definitely not a doctor and I don't want to give up and if I don't he wont.
