Close Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT)

Last year I was put on BCPs for heavy periods. One month later I had the flu, which turned into pneum. That was the end of May,July 6th or so I woke with what seemed like a strained muscle in my rt. calf. But I could not replicate the pain with palpitating the muscle. I knew the BCPs could cause a DVT. I called the advice nurse and said I thought I may have one. I was put on coumadin for 6 months. I am concerned about my future likelyhood of having another.
