Change of employment
Well, I just quit the one career that I enjoyed. And that was truck driving. Got a new position working in a hotel as Housekeeping …
I'm a 33 year old mother of 2 beautiful girls. And drive a big 18 wheeler across country. This year 2009 has been a tough one. In January 2009 shortly after my return from a trip to Germany in December, I suffered a pulmonary embolism (blood clot in the lung). During my hospital stay, they also diagnosed me with Type 2 Diabetes. It runs in my family but I didn't expect it so soon since I was living a healthier lifestyle than most of my family. So it was double whammy for me. Since then I am overly anxious about my health. Almost every little twinge scares the beejeebus out of me. So, on top of everything I now have to deal with anxiety and it's effects on the body, ie high increase in blood pressure to which my doc said time for more meds. It's been a tough year and I'm hanging in there and hoping to find the support I need here!

About a few weeks after returning home from a trip to Germany, I suffered a PE. My hubby and I were just coming back from the yard in which our truck and trailer are located. I felt a surge of anxiety that was at the time quite unusual for me. I pushed it aside thinking it was stress. We drove to the bank. While waiting in line I felt a weird pressure in my chest and this awful feeling of anxiety. Straight to ER we went.
Began having anxiety attacks recently. After my blood clot and being released from the hospital, I began to worry constantly about my health. The ordeal frightened me very badly. Every little twinge has me panicking!
need to loose weight because was diagnosed with Diabetes Type 2 in January
