Excessive craniofacial sweating Mood
Sunday, October 25, 2009 | A Frustrating story

I  have suffered from excessive scalp and facial sweating for the last 8 years , and with it I noticed new symptoms, at first I didn't make the conection with the new symptoms, but with time I realized that my wrists hurt, it would be first one ,then the other, and sometimes both.

The pain would go away, and then my knees started hurting ,that would go away too, only for my neck to start hurting, until one day I noticed that eating anything with salt or sodium would bring on the pain  and the exssesive sweating, I mean sweat runs freely from head and neck, all over my face, I can no longer wear makeup, I only go out when necesary, I live in Florida which makes things worst, the humidity kills me. Now  I am in pain constantly, my bones hurt ,there must be sodium in the water ,becouse I stay away from salty foods. I have been diagnosed with hyperhidrosis,  and generalized tendonitis ,what I would like to find out is why salt and sodium make me sweat excessibly, and why it makes my joints or tendons all over my body hurt  to the point that sometimes I can't even get out of bed, this is having a big and heavy impact on my 16 year old son. I gram of sodium makes me sweat for 24 to 48 hours. Am I crazy? If there is anybody who is going throu this ,please contact me. I have been to my regular Dr, endocrinologist, rheumatologist, and they all have told that nothing is wrong with me, the endocrinologist told me that I just have to learn to live with this ,I don't think so, there has to be an answear ,a reason, and even if there is no cure for whatever this is ,there has to be some type of treatment.
